A great collection of all Gogol's Ukranian stories. I loved the humor of stories such as the Quarrel between the Two Ivans, and also the epic novella Taras Bulba. I also remember how they translated "Sexton of the N--- Church" (I'm looking at what he's called in the title of "The Lost Letter" above) as the "Vicar of St N----" which I love.
