Last Nights of Paris

Soupault's 1928 Surrealist novel, translated by William Carlos Williams in 1929, following a protagonist's obsession with a woman who leads him through Paris's urban underworld. Related to Nadja and Paris Peasant, it offers a vivid portrait of 1920s Paris and represents a collaboration between French and American modernist literary circles.— Google Books
