The Chestnut Man is a bestselling Danish crime novel by Søren Sveistrup, creator of The Killing, about a serial killer in Copenhagen who leaves handmade chestnut dolls at his crime scenes, linking them to a missing girl's case. The book, published in 2018, became a popular Netflix series in 2021, following detectives Thulin and Hess as they race to catch the killer, whose signature is a doll made of matchsticks and chestnuts.
