Woohoo, look who finally finished reading the Novel! Finding Time Again/Time Regained is maybe the best volume of the novel, and Ian Patterson's translation is great. I get the impression he stuck very closely to the French, but he makes it work. The glimpse into life in France/Paris during WWI is reason enough to read.
