Bernard Keith Waldrop was an American poet, translator, novelist, publisher, and academic. He won the National Book Award for Poetry for his 2009 collection Transcendental Studies: A Trilogy. His novel, Light While There is Light, was reissued as a New York Review of Books Classic in 2026.
